The ProxysVPN main screen: “Protected”

WataFast — our connection technology.

It picks, remembers, switches and repairs. By itself.

The list of countries in ProxysVPN, with WataFast at the top: “Picks the country and protocol itself and remembers what worked on this network”
  • Picks the country and protocol.

No settings: it takes what works on your network.

  • Remembers your network.

At home, at work, on the road: on a network it knows, it starts with what already worked.

  • Connection gone? It comes back by itself.

WataFast checks the server, tries another way to connect and restores the connection.

  • Turns on even when our site can’t be reached.

It tries backup addresses and keeps the verified list of servers for up to a week. The first sign-in needs at least one of our addresses to open.

Three well-known protocols, and a fourth of our own

Mac · Windows · Linux · Android · test version for iPhone

The fourth protocol
we built from scratch.

WataFast, our own protocol, made for networks with heavy blocking, like those in Russia and China. Ours from the app to the server.

  • The network changes. Your connection doesn’t.

A different Wi-Fi, a laptop that slept and woke up: WataFast carries on with the same session instead of starting over.

  • Several paths at once.

Your data travels over several connections at the same time. One drops, the others carry on.

  • Every device has its own key.

The key is made on your device and stays there. The server knows the device by that key.

  • On the server: a real website.

Whoever looks at the server finds an ordinary website. And a WataFast connection looks like a browser visiting it.

This is a difference in how the protocols are built, not a measured result. VLESS Reality stays in the app alongside the other protocols.

Today the WataFast protocol is in the apps for Mac, Windows, Linux and Android and in the test version for iPhone and iPad. The APK version and the Apple TV app do not carry it yet: we will add it later.

Where it is today

From the outside

To the network, just a website.

From the outside, the connection looks like ordinary protected traffic: the same as any website over https.

That is how VLESS Reality and XHTTP are designed, and the WataFast protocol is built the same way.

Privacy

Built for privacy and a connection that holds.

Different networks need different ways to connect. So ProxysVPN carries several protocols, and WataFast switches to the one that works on yours.

Your own lists.

What always goes direct and what goes only through the VPN is up to you.

The connection comes back by itself.

If it drops, WataFast restores it without your help.

And more

Thought through, down to the details.

One button

Press “Turn on”. That’s it.

The app connects and says “Protected”. Or don’t press at all: let it connect by itself whenever you open it.

Another country, without disconnecting.

Pick it in the list, and the app switches without turning the VPN off.

Latency, right in the list.

Real milliseconds to every country. You can see at once which one is closer.

Sign-in

A code from your dashboard, and you’re in.

Get a code in your dashboard or in the bot and enter it in the app. Or open the dashboard on your phone, tap the code icon next to the link and point the camera at the round code on the screen.

How to install.

The Mac build is signed and notarized by Apple. The Windows and Linux builds are not signed with a developer certificate yet, so the system asks again on the first install. Here is what to press.

Mac
  1. Open ProxysVPN_0.3.13_aarch64.dmg and drag ProxysVPN to “Applications”.
  2. On the first launch macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet. Click “Open”.
  3. At launch, enter your Mac password.
Windows
  1. Download ProxysVPN_0.3.13_x64-setup.exe. If Microsoft Edge holds the download and offers “Delete”, click the arrow next to that button → “Keep anyway”.
  2. Run the file. If “Windows protected your PC” appears, click “More info” → “Run anyway”.
  3. Allow the app administrator rights.
Linux
  1. In the folder with the downloaded file, run:sudo apt install ./ProxysVPN_0.3.13_amd64.deb
  2. Start ProxysVPN from the applications menu.
Steam Deck
  1. Download ProxysVPN_0.3.13_amd64.AppImage in Desktop Mode. Then open Konsole in the folder with the file and make it executable:chmod +x ProxysVPN_0.3.13_amd64.AppImage
  2. Double-click the file. Do the first start and the first connect here, in Desktop Mode: the system asks for the password of the user deck once. If there is no password yet, set one first with the passwd command.
  3. After that you can use the app in Gaming Mode, with the controller: add the file to Steam as a non-Steam game.

This build has not been run on a real Steam Deck yet: it was checked on a computer. If something goes wrong, write to support.

Android
  1. The simple way is Google Play: open the ProxysVPN page and tap “Install”.
  2. Without Google Play: download ProxysVPN_0.3.13_android-universal.apk and open it. The browser warns about the file, and Android asks once to allow installs from this source.
  3. Open ProxysVPN. When Android asks for permission to set up a VPN and to send notifications, allow both.

We checked the APK version on an emulator, not on a real phone. If something goes wrong, write to support.

iPhone and iPad
  1. Install the TestFlight app from the App Store: Apple hands out test versions through it.
  2. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Open in TestFlight link and tap “Accept”, then “Install”.
  3. Open ProxysVPN and sign in with a code from your dashboard. When the iPhone asks whether to add VPN configurations, tap “Allow”.

This is a test version, and it may still have errors. Each build in TestFlight lasts 90 days, and TestFlight tells you itself when there is a new one. If something goes wrong, write to support.

Apple TV
  1. On Apple TV, install the TestFlight app from the App Store.
  2. On an iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account as the TV, open the Open in TestFlight link and tap “Accept”.
  3. Open TestFlight on Apple TV, choose ProxysVPN and select “Install”.
  4. To sign in, open the dashboard on your phone, tap the code icon next to the link and point the camera at the round code on the TV screen.

This is a test version, and it may still have errors. If something goes wrong, write to support.

Then a code from your dashboard or the bot, and you’re done.
